The Ink House 1

The Ink House

117 N 2nd St, Edwardsville, IL

An upscale event space in Downtown Edwardsville that was previously the home of The Intelligencer Newspaper.  The office and printing areas were completely renovated, opening up the original warehouse windows that had been blocked shut and removing years of added building layers.  The old printing area is now an open event room that can hold 250 people.  Office areas were reconstructed as the event entry and restroom spaces.  All new mechanical systems were installed including fire sprinklers.  We worked with Nickas Architects on this project.
