After inspecting this former lumberyard building, we developed a concept for reuse that included exposed structure, lifting the center roof to incorporate clerestory windows, and a structural steel spine to give it much needed support. This was truly a collaborative design that involved the building owner, architect, structural engineer and city staff to make it the success it turned out to be. We worked with Gray Design and ASDG Structural Engineers.
