What is your favorite part about working in construction?

My favorite part of working in construction is the opportunity to meet new people and constantly expand my knowledge. Every day brings a chance to learn something new, whether it’s about a project, a process, or a different way to solve a problem. Building relationships and growing my understanding keeps the work interesting and rewarding.

What has been your favorite project?

Since I mainly work behind the scenes in the office, it’s hard to pick just one favorite project. I’ve been lucky to watch many exciting and innovative projects come to life, and being part of the team that supports those efforts is really fulfilling. Each project has its own unique story, and I enjoy playing my role in helping everything run smoothly.

What do you do in your spare time?

When I’m not supporting my daughter at her concerts or cheering on my son at his volleyball games, I like to unwind by reading and designing T-shirts. My husband and I also run a photography business, which keeps us busy and lets us get creative together. I’m also actively involved in volunteering within our school district and love joining my work family on various projects whenever I can. And, whenever the chance arises, I absolutely adore listening to live music—it’s one of my favorite ways to relax and recharge.
