How long have you been in construction?
I’ve been working in construction management since 2021. Before stepping into construction, I managed facilities and events at Lindenwood University’s Belleville campus, which gave me valuable experience handling logistics and operations. I also helped manage a nonprofit soccer club, where teamwork and community engagement were key. Those experiences helped prepare me for the fast-paced and collaborative world of construction management.
What is your favorite part about working in construction?
My favorite part of construction is the creation process. Change is the only constant in life, and it’s rewarding to see—and be part of—that change firsthand through construction projects. Building something from the ground up that adds value to society and infrastructure gives me a real sense of accomplishment. It’s exciting to contribute to spaces that will be used and appreciated by people for years to come.
What has been your favorite project?
Olia Village stands out as my favorite project so far for many reasons. The location of the campus and the unique nature of the development make it a fascinating place to work. There’s always something new to learn on site or from the amazing mentors and network around me. I thrive on taking on responsibility and enjoy the challenges that come with managing a large, complex development like this.
What do you do in your spare time?
When I’m not working, I love traveling to visit family and tackling projects with friends. Staying active is important to me, so I make sure to fit in workouts and other physical activities. It’s a great way to recharge and stay balanced outside of work.
