How long have you worked in construction?
I’ve had the greatest privilege of growing up with this company and being involved in a variety of projects from a young age. Some of my best memories are doing demo work alongside my brothers on weekends—it was a hands-on way to learn and be part of the team early on. Being around construction all my life has given me a deep appreciation for the craft and the people behind it.
What is your favorite part of working in construction?
What I love most about construction is the creativity and collaboration it takes to bring projects to life. There’s something really special about creating spaces where people can gather, live, and make memories that last a lifetime. Every project is like a puzzle where teamwork and imagination come together to build something meaningful. Knowing that our work shapes communities and enriches lives makes it all worthwhile.
What has been your favorite project and why?
The PflimHaus Lofts in Downtown Edwardsville definitely stands out as my favorite project so far. It was so rewarding to watch an old, forgotten space get restored and brought back to life. Seeing the transformation from start to finish was inspiring, and being part of revitalizing a piece of our downtown was really exciting.
What do you do in your spare time?
Outside of construction, I work full-time as a nurse at St. Louis Children’s Hospital in the Heart Center. When I’m not working, I love baking, traveling, reading, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
