What is your favorite part about working in construction?

My favorite part about working in construction is seeing the transformation from blueprint to reality. It’s incredible to watch a project come together piece by piece, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and detailed planning that everyone puts in. There’s something truly rewarding about standing back and seeing what was once just an idea become a finished structure that people can use and appreciate.

What has been your favorite project?

I don’t have a single favorite project because each one is unique and special in its own way. What really draws me in are the meaningful stories or historical significance behind the buildings we work on. Those details make every project feel important and connected to something bigger. Some of my most enjoyable days are when we’re setting up siding or completing elevator installations—those moments where the work really starts to take shape and the progress is visible.

What do you do in your spare time?

In my spare time, I make it a priority to spend quality time with my family. We enjoy tackling projects around the house together, which is both productive and rewarding. Being outdoors is also a big part of how I recharge, whether it’s going for walks, gardening, or other outdoor activities. I have a creative side too—I enjoy reading and painting when I get the chance. And every now and then, I find myself quietly thinking about work, brainstorming new ideas or solutions. It’s all part of staying engaged and inspired.
