How long have you been in construction?

For over three decades now, I’ve built my career in the world of construction. Over the years, I’ve had the chance to work on a wide variety of projects, each one teaching me something new and helping me grow both professionally and personally. Construction has been more than a job—it’s been a passion and a way of life.

What is your favorite part about working in construction?

My favorite part of construction is the daily challenges that come with the work. No two days are the same, and there’s a real sense of accomplishment in overcoming obstacles along the way. One of the most rewarding moments is seeing the excitement on people’s faces as they experience a finished project for the first time. Knowing that our hard work has brought their vision to life is incredibly satisfying and motivates me to keep pushing forward.

What has been your favorite project?

One standout project in my career was my involvement with the Olin Business School at Washington University back in 2014. That project was both complex and rewarding, offering opportunities to collaborate with talented teams and tackle unique challenges. Seeing the finished building and knowing the role I played in its creation is something I still take pride in today.

What do you do in your spare time?

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors fishing and hunting—activities that help me relax and recharge. I also find joy in lending a helping hand to others whenever I can. Whether it’s assisting neighbors or volunteering, giving back is important to me and brings balance to my life.
